Hidden Secret – The narcissist has absolutely no intention of changing this little habit of theirs. They strategically threw the card on the table so that if you shuffled it into the mix, you'd have no recourse when it comes up (and it WILL come up).

This is another blueprint behavior of narcissistic scam artists (generally of the overt, somatic, histrionic type), and they say this to every single one of their partners. Why? Because they're deep in the middle of online dating and p*rn sites, fapping left and right, sending pics of their nether-regions to various prospects, serial cheating, participating in various departments of "curiosity", and sometimes…even ped*philia. It's just a matter of time before you find out, and the narcissist wants to smooth the way for when that happens.

It may be hard to imagine at this point in your relationship, but there ARE people in the world who don't cheat on their partners...and they certainly wouldn't make lame excuses for it even if they did. There are too many loving, faithful, authentic people out there who would make a lovely match for you (yes, as you are).
